i would only run 22s in the woods and thats if its really muddy and rutted out. i prefer 20s for harescrambles.

Im the one who thinks there too big, my friend has the same ones and i think his are smaller, he will have to come over tonight and compare, i like to do wheelies in 5th and think it will take away the tourque so i cant get it up. Im only 1110, we go to gravel pits alot, road ride to get to places, trails mud and tracks. I think they just look real huge tooo.

you can solve that problem by gearing down 1 tooth on the countershaft sproket. it is about the same gearing as stock, simple fix..

for mx i have 18", for xc have 22" and for the dunes have 20", the thing is that with the same sprokets, if you run 18" they wil rotate faster and thats good for a race track, and for xc, the 22" will give you a lot of speed because when they rotate gain more ground, so in the long run they are better. whera i do xc, we have long strigth roads.

i have 22 fronts and 22 rears with a 14 tooth sprocket. my next set will prob be 20's for the rears. i like my 22 rears, they get me through a lot of crap, and they give me insane ground clearance, but they're pretty heavy.

Nice 400.

how do you like the hole shots? my friend has them and loves them.

i love mine, they do great in everything. they work realy good on hills too....only times they have ever let me down, was in some mud that a 4x4 would get stuck in.
and suprisingly, i can slide with them

22" Holeshot XC's up front with 20" Klaws in the rear. I love it.
Sometimes you might see me with some 22"XCT's in the back, but I really dont like them. I only use them if it is REALLY rutted.

I got 23" up front and 22" in rear for ground clearance. We ride alot of rough woods trails. I just got tired of gettin high centered w/ the 20" tires.

22's in the front and 20's in the rear, I have some dick cepek spider trak's that are 22's and they are awesome for the woods but for wheelies and hard riding they seem to rob alot of torque.

22" razr 2's all the way around. I love em for the woods...no more gettin caught on the swingarm skidplate on a worn in trail...and they hook up like you would not believe.

Had to drop to a 14 tooth for the front sprocket to get some torque back when I put them on. I'm a big guy though.

A/T 489 23x8x10 & Trailbreakers 22x12.5x8 for Trails, Geko and Shark fins for the sand.

I run a 13 tooth for the front in the woods and 14 for the sand... the 13 is awesome in tight trails... :D
