Has anyone had succes dissableing the rev limet in reverse on the ltz/kfx 400?
The 400ex is simple enough but I see that suzuki uses a switch mounted on the case to perform neutral light and reverse light functions. Can you modify the harness to eliminate the rpm limit in reverse on these? I know someone has done this,if not I will figuire it out and repost. Thanks

An expensive way is to get a Dyna ignition. It adds unbelievably more power and it takes the rev limiter out of it automatically.

I don't see why you would want to, it goes plenty fast in reverse!

yes it will get going fast in reverse, but the rpms are rediculously low. if im down in a hole or somthing in a trail and i need reverse, it is little help on the z because the rev limitor is so low.

Must agree!! If the front is down in a hole or rut, I cannot develop good power in reverse.
