Sounds like a carb problem. To me it sounds like your either running to lean or to rich. If that helps any. What are some mods to the machine? Pipe? Filter?

i have a dg megaphone exhaust. and a k&n filter nothing special i dont know what jets it has in it b/c i havent done anything to it since i bought it. it ran perfectly fine before i went to the badlands off road park and about half way through the day it started acting up and it was all i could do to get it back to the truck:(

still sounds like a carb problem. have you tried cleaning it out after that ride you had? doesnt really take much to clog a passage in there.........

When you brought it, did it come with the air filter and exhaust or did you put them on? If you put them on you would have to change your jets a few sizes up I believe, but don't quote me.
Also, clean out your carb and air filter if you havn't done so already.

i bet you found the problem.....that will do it.

from what i understand the main jet's output is controlled by the needle, which kicks in at about 1/8 or 1/4 throttle up to 3/4 throttle. after 3/4, the main is unobstructed and flows freely. if there is something clogged in it, its output is affected from the earliest position on up to full throttle.
