im installing the new brake lines on my 300EX, and i got the 2 line kit which comes with a "T" adapter, where do i place this? do i mount it where the other one went or what? Im confused, it gave no instructions on what to do, like every other part you order, please let me know what to do asap. thanks.

i tired to install it where one brake line would face the front of the quad, and the other towards the rear, but they wouldnt reach. (this was where the old unit was placed towards the bottom of the frame). im out of ideas on what to do. THis wasnt the part i had in mind. I thoght we would use that stock part where i tried mounting it. any ideas at all?

If I remember right I was able to mount the "T" piece in the same spot where the oem one went. I think I just had to bolt it on differently. I'll check tomorrow and take a pic of how I mounted mine and post it here.

Hmm...I wonder if they sent you the right stuff? Unless maybe they changed something since I bought mine. Hope you get it figured out. I apologize for not posting the pics sooner. I'm usually pretty good at getting back with folks on stuff like this.:o

i was thinking of mounting it like this, but then i wouldnt have enough slack with the lines.

just drill another hole in the front side of that bracket and mount it there. Then the T will be lined up correctly with the a-arms and should give you enough slack

Does your T have a hole going the direction of the arrows I drew?

I think mine had holes in both directions so I was able to turn mine so it was parallel with the a arms. If not just drill your own hole like Leschj03 said.

You could also just use a small "L" bracket to attach it.

I'm diggin the blue lines/clamps:devil:

Sweet. I figured you would come up with a simple solution. The SS brakelines made a huge difference in braking on my fronts. I have yet to replace the rear lines since I don't use the rear brakes much.:o

edit: Let me know how you like the rears compared to the stock line.

How do you like the powermadds? I just got a set for free but I haven't rode with them on yet. **** rain won't quit long enough to let me try them out.
