high compresion piston??

i have a 02 400ex and my piston,sleeve, and rings are shot..lol i took apart my whole top end and im rebuildin it..i already need new gaskets and a new sleeve...but im wondering about the piston...should i get a high compresion piston?? i ahve a all stock engine and im wonderin wat i would have to change along wit the piston and wat does it do and is it worth it????

I just put a 11:1 piston in mine and thats all you need to do different is put in the piston.Except if you bore it out then it is recommended to get the bigger head studs so you dont blow out gaskets all the time.I put mine in and I think theres a difference(even though im on standard bore)but I was told it doesnt do much good without a cam so if I were you I would order up a stage 1 hotcam for it if your staying 426 or below and a stage 2 for a 440.Hope this helped you out some.
