Dyeing Plastics?

I have heard of people painting their plastics, but has anyone ever tried to dye their plastics before?

I used to do it on my RC cars years ago and thought I might give her a try.

Anyone have a rear fender size pot or pan I can use? :devil:

lacross guys die thier stick heads all the time. they use RIT die that you can buy at any local hardware store or grocery store.

you might be able to use a kiddy swimming pool...?

yeah, I was thinking about that and using a cheap heating element and suspending it in the water to heat it up.

I wonder how long it will hold up.........:rolleyes:

Well, as I was pondering over my fine turkey sandwich at lunch, I stumbled upon a possible problem to my winter project.....

How am I going to dispose of a kiddy pool full of RIT Dye? :eek2:

LMAO.....I may have found a solution, I will post the results when I do the initial testing.

Dig a large shallow hole next to the pool.......dump the pool......cover the hole.:)
