Ok street bike guys, i'm learning how to do stand up wheelies. I clutch up in seccond gear ride it out and go to third. I can probably ride about a half mile or so. When I do this I am riding on the balance point doing somwhere around 100-120. Its conforterable to me but I would like to be able to do slower ones. any tips?

I would say just go past the ballence point. and let off the throttle.

the slow ones are the hard ones....just keep practicing in 1st gear.

let some air out of your back tire (go down to like 18-20 psi if you will be in a parking lot or something...reinflate when going back out on the street).

Clutch it up from a dead stop, and gradually get higher and higher and focus on where the back brake is. Eventually you'll get high enough to start using the brake. That's when you can really get the slow ones down.

However, the slower you want to go the more risk there is in dropping your bike.

I'm not good at slow wheelies for that reason...however I do know the process.

50mph is about as slow as I get and have any distance. I have brought it to balance point at 15mph, but let it down a bit and accelerated from there.

Need a stuntbike to learn that stuff with minimal risk.
