im wondering does the killswitch complete the circuit to run, or interrupt it?

With the teather attached it will close the circut and once it's pulled it opens it. I hooked mine up by grounding my short wire to the frame by putting in on a screw that holds the plastics on and the long wire I spliced it into the black wire with a yellow stripe on it that goes into the rev box under the front plastics, took about a half of an hour and was a piece of cake.

I just recieved instructions from them and it says to put it on the pulse trigger lead. is this the black wire with yellow?

I'm not sure about the pulse wire but i ran a search on here and that was the way most of the guys hooked theirs up and it works + it's easy just go to an auto store and get a wire splicer and you won't even have to cut the black and yellow wire.

Yes on the pro armor the long goes to the black wire with a yellow stripe and the short wire is grounded on the frame
