exhaust touching frame?

ok..well...i found this exhaust system( not too old ) in my neighbors barn when we were cleaning it out(his uncle used to race)...but anyways i made a few minor modifications so it would fit onto my 400EX...and the only problem is that it is touching my frame.

would it hurt anything?

couse any problems?

is it a full system? whats it for? like what was it originally designed for? if its just the can thats touching the frame you should be ok since the can doesnt get really hot like the head pipe. i dont know about performance though..... exhausts are designed for a specific quad for a reason. please make sure its a 4 stroke exhaust :rolleyes: one of my buddies found an old CR250 scilencer and attempted to put it on his 300ex :rolleyes: hopefully your not retarded like him.

it is just the canister, and it is for a 4 stroke dirtbike
