400ex are extremely outdated, and are boring to ride no fun, i had more fun on the blaster then i did on the 400ex and i use to woop 400ex all day long on the track and dragging so that should tell you about how outdated they are

clearly this guy doesnt know what hes talking about outdated lmfao look at the blaster its more outdated, 400exs are alot more fun to ride cause there faster, handle better, way better suspension, and u actualy can steer without ur knees hitting the bars cause ur so cramped

blasters came out in 88 and they have been the exact same til 03 then all that they did was change the plastic WOW so how can you say 400ex are out dated:devil:

Go buy a trx450R or a TRX250R, i would go with the TRX250R and make it a full mx quad it would kill a blaster and probaly the new 450s to,

all that was changed was the front plastic and they put hydrolic brakes on it thats all

Front brakes are the most important. I would consider going from Drum brakes to Disc a huge improvement.

The rear brake prior to the 2003 updates was still mechanical.

And the handle bars were different.
