2002 400EX. with the exception of a K&N filter my buggy is bone stock. Ive purchased an FMF Powercore slip on which is on its way. I am intimidated by the thought of re jetting considering my local shop and dealer both want over 150 bucks to do the work.so i am willing to taKe it on myself. i live in central ohio and would appreciate a jet combo, if any, that may work. Is it possible to not re jet and get the performance? Thanks

150 to rejet?Ok alot of us have dynojet kits.I would suggest one of them since then you have a whole pack ready and dont have to go buy more if you dont have the right jets.Put it this way...I can probally change my main in less than 15 minutes and for putting in a dynojet needle you just follow the instructions. When I first got mine I was scared too but you do it once and your over it.

thanks for the response. how will i know what jet is right. im not a mechanic by any rite. i would also prefer to keep the airbox lid due to the amount of water i ride thru. the purpose of this mod is for the low end and sound.

150.00??? WOW, I got jetting on my 450R at a local dealer I bought my 450R from called J&W Cycles for around $10.00.. they did it in about 15 minutes before I was leaving or it seemed short... but 150.00 u should find a mechnic around you to do it for like 20 or 30

Well if you got the dynojets I would probally try a 155 or 160 first since they are bigger than the keihin jets.Thats where I would start at least.

thanks again for the help. sounds like the dynojetis the way to go and probably the simplest. would the stage one or stage two by a good decision. no mods except the K$N and the FMF powercore
