Brake Drag

I noticed the last time out riding that my rear brake isn't releasing after use. It's bad enough that when shifting from 1st to 2nd on loose dirt it will lock up the rear tires. I'm able to get it to release by pressing the brake lever down a couple of times while sitting still. Has anyone had a similar problem if so what was the fix. The disc isn't been bent as its only been out to the dunes.

well... IMO the sand will eat up your brakes and chain. If i were you i would try some brake cleaner and spray it down really good. It sounds like its got sand in there making it stick. Or else your pads might be bad. Just a suggestion

also check the pivot point, clean and grease it. ive seen them bind here

thanks for the input, I'll give that a try tonight hopefully its something simple. I'd hate to ruin a trip to the dunes this weekend.
