For all the racers out there or anybody really what made you get into atv`s and how did you start your careers?

my dad got me my first one and i was hooked. i just learned more and more about them till i got a job working at a local shop. i kept learning and working at it till i got to know what i do today.

my dad rode dirtbikes and has always had a motorcycle, so it was natural for me to want a dirtbike as a kid, then some kid on the other side of my woods got a bayou and that made me decide i wanted a quad, i got an arcticcat90 and rode it for 6 months, And bought a 300ex,watching huevos made me want to go to a race, and that made me want to race so i tried in 3 years ago and have loved ever second of it:cool:

My dads dad was a doctor so i had to beg and beg when i was in like 4th grade and finally got a PW80. Rode it like crazy then got a Yamaha Beartracker. A neighborhood kid had a 400ex and got me wanting a racing quad. Then moved to a 300ex and now am on a 450r. Friends got me into it i guess you can say...that and magazines.

I always wanted a quad, cause so many people around here ride them I would see them riding and wanted to try it. Bout 5 years ago a friend of mine got a sportsman400, it was the first quad I rode and I was instantly hooked. After that I saved up all my money for almost a year, and bought a 300ex. I kept that for a couple years, then I just needed more power so I sold it and started building the 250r. That took me just over a year to build and I plan on racing it soon.

my friend got me into racing and i first learned on a pw80 then got a kx60 then yz85 then i felt like i would be better on a quad for some reason and my friends had quads so i got a 400ex and i just sold that today on ebay so this weekend i will be moving up to a 450!

my old neighbor(who passed away at age 16 RIP) had dirtbikes and i used to sit and watch him...got a cr80 for my 1st bike, then got a bayou and got hooked on quads

Back in the day my cousins had a honda fourtrax 250 shaft drive utility. I rode it every time we went over, and eventually got my parents to buy me a 1986 200sx. I rode that thing almost to it's death in about a year. Then, sold it and bought a kx125. About 5 dirtbikes, and 4 or 5 quads later, I've got the quad that started it all. Every time i ride my 250r i get more hooked on it. I'm hoping to race it more here in the near future.

my dad got me my first quad when i was 6 (polaris 350L) kept that for about 4 years then i parked it cuz i blew the engine...dam polaris. then my friend parked his 1984 moto 4 200 and i rode that for about 3 years. then i got a 300ex kept it for 1 year and now i have the 400ex in my sig!

my friend had a atc250 3wheeler and i rode that around at his house, then i got a 300ex when i was 10 or 11. And now im almost 16 and i have a 450r. But i still have the 300.

my dad bought me a quad to hunt on and i always liked the ride in and ride out better than to hunt and i always would go really fast too fast for hunting (because of the noise) and i got word that they were gonna have a race and steele creek and i was like kool about 20 guys ridin that will be fun i got there and there was like 600 racers there and i was like dang im gonna race

I started out riding a 4x4 quad for quite a while and loved it. and I eventually saved up enough money to buy the 400ex i have now.

My pap taught me how to ride a 160 when i was 8 n rode that thing as much as i could. Then at 11 i got a bayou. Beat the piss out of it! I got a 400ex when i was 14 n the 450r had just came out i wanted one so bad but dad said it was too scary. 2 weeks later my friend got one. I rode it n i begged my parents to get me one. Then a little over a year later i got my 450.
