2000 xr 100 and my friend has a 92 yz 80 i would think that his bike would win but mine can stay ahead of him by a pretty good margin and he thought that he would beat me in a drag race and so did i but my bike pulled ahead has anyone ever noticed that 100"s are fast.

Hey don't mean to rag on your bike but.... what??? That yz 80 should smoke that XR. Is it stock, and how heavy is your friend. I had a stock RT 180 2-stroke dirtbike, that beat a stock 2001 Xr 100 By at least 8 bike lengths, and When I raced my friends semi modded YZ 80 he beat me mid range pretty bad, but I had more top end then him and would get him in the long run. And my frind weighed around 200 pounds, and I was around 150 back then. The YZ jetted, and running right should eat the Xr 100. I mean just look at the facts. XR 100 4-stroke air cooled for trails, YZ 80 2-stroke liqued cooled for racing. The 80 should win. swap bikes one time and then see who wins, it might just be the rider.

If your XR was a 200 your story might be believeable. Unless, that YZ80 has lost all its compression and barely runs.

hes gotta a slip on fmf and all i really got is the baffles taken out it makes it sound like really throaty and ive raced newer 100"s and spanked them probaly cuz all the new bikes got throttle limiters and **** on them
