will it hurt anything to take the plastic gaurd off that is under the swingarm on a 450r??! just wondering.. it looks weird

plastic piece under the swing arm in not for sure what your talking about? Take it off it might ligthin your 450r up some more and give 20 more H.P. hahaha j/k dont know man if you wanna take it off go for it

the plastic gaurd under the chain/rear brakes... i ride mx most of the time if that explains anything

that is a skid plate...take it off for mx and then leave it off, but buy a good .250 thick aluminum one for any trail riding. it is there to protect the brake disk and your chain and sprockets...ruining any of these on a trail ride would not be good...not only would the ride come up short, but the wallet would be lighter too....

dont take off the skidplate....u need it bad, mind come in handy countless times
