I'm not going to wait, we will be ripping it up at Breezewood over Memorial Day weekend. The particuliars can be found on BPG's site www.breezewoodprovinggrounds.com

The weather should be great, camping will be sweet and the riding awesome! I hope to see you there!

why its better tehn racing... u ride 3x as much and u run ur own pace and do what u want when u feel like it...

like this time i would put in 5 hard laps and really try... then coast 1 or 2 just to get over the arm pump or settle down then do it again...

i agree with you 100% tommy. My dad would take me to birch creek which is 4hrs away to race but not 3hrs to practice for 2whole days. But i think he will take me. Hopefully.

Believe me no one will regret going, I lost my keys and had to drive 1.5 home get my spare 1.5 back to the tracks and then turn around and drive 1.5 home again and would do it all over again that's how much fun I had this past weekend! Not only can you ride when you want, you can meet great people when your not riding! Or you can go to the youth track and watch Cody tear it up!

Nah u had a good reason to have a 4 hour ride. Im talking to the people that are saying" I wish i could make it but 4 hours is to long"

7.5 hours for me one way, and I WILL DO IT AGAIN !!

ballz2thewall
05-09-2006, 06:37 AM
For those that are old enough to drive, I was 16 and drove from Pa to S.C by myself to pick a freakin dog up. That was 9 hours there 30 min. to get the dog and 9 hours back! So like John said 4 hours is nothing, just gotta be dedicated. For those that can't drive do something for your parents so they bring you! They will also have fun just watching!

In addition to the festivities we already have planned for Memorial Day Weekend we will now air the HOYCE GRACIE VS MATT HUGH Ultimate Fight on Pay Per View. We'll show the fight on our bigscreen tv outside the dining hall by the firepit on Saturday night May 27th.

awsome, ill see if my dad jus wants to go down on saturday morning and stay till sunday afternoon. And we can jus sleep in our jeep. What time does the mx track open and close? Oh and since im 15 and ride a 450r is that ok?

The park opens at 8 am and closes at 8pm. Anyone camping or renting a cabin can ride from sun up till sun down.

No problem being 15 riding a 450 as long as a parent comes to sign the waiver. We leave decisions like what to ride and what jumps to do up to the riders and their parents. Hopefully everyone uses good judgment.

I look forward to riding with you here soon.

They called for rain all weekend at the park. It never rained. Track was perfect. Everyone that trusted that it never rains here and came out to rider were treated to the best track conditions ever. The mulch is worked in real nice now and just looks like dark black soil. My loader is being delivered this Thursday and I'll be out building some new jumps.

The PROVING GROUNDS is conveniently located In Breezewood PA. Breezewood is in South Central PA Where the PA Turnpike Interstate 70 and PA Route 30 connect. The zip code for Breezewood is: 15533 The track is 10 miles from that intersection. From Breezewood take South Breezewood Road (next to Mcdonalds/ Exxon). Make a right off of South Breezewood onto Oak Grove Road. Follow it 3-4 miles to the end and turn Left onto Robinsonville Road. we will be 3 miles on your left. Take it slow we live on a very rural country road.

Loader was delivered Wednesday instead of today and I made some killer changes on the upper track.

4 jumps total were changed in some way. I may post some pics, if not you just gotta come up and check it out for yourself. I'll be working on the kids track today.

.............We had 26 Tri axle loads of mulch delivered and worked into all the tracks over the past two weeks. I'm working on having another 25 loads delivered over the next two weeks. You can expect the tracks to just keep gettin' better and better.

DON'T FORGET MEMORIAL DAY WE ARE HAVING KIDS QUAD RACES ON THE KIDS TRACK WITH THE PIT BIKE RACES. WE'LL RACE QUADS UP TO 200CC !!!!

help spread the word for me.

Awesome pics pappy, some of the best I've ever seen. Fink looking forward to meeting and riding with you.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. The weekend should be as close to perfect as possible. Its raining this morning, and we needed it. Its going to clear out this afternnon and be beautiful all weekend. Tracks will be in awesome shape.

Events for the weekend are as follows: Saturday around 2pm we will having riding games behind the dining hall. Were gonna do a barrell pushing race, a hot dog snatch where u have to ride under a hotdog and take a bite without stopping. for the 2 wheelers were gonna have a slow drag race where the last one across the finish line wins.

We have great prizes to give away that were donated by RIDERSVILLE CYCLES, SHENANDOAH HONDA AND JUNIATA RECRATION.

Saturday evening around dinner time were gonna have an hour long hay ride up thru the mountain.

Saturday night we have ordered the PAY PER VIEW FIGHT BETWEEN MATT HUGHES AND ROYCE GRACIE. We'll play the fight on big screen tv outside by the community firepit.

Sunday we are having a free cook out with Pit Beef on the grill. Pappy you did such a good job on the last pig we'd be glad to have your help on the beef.?

Monday we are having KIDS QUAD RACING (UP TO 200CC) AND ADULT AND KIDS PIT BIKE RACING on the kids track.

The kids track just got a major expansion. It now uses the area that used to be our oval track. The addition includes two new killer table tops.

Hope to see everyone this weekend. Anyone that needs to leave their quad here overnite to stay in a hotel is more then welcome, we have plenty of room in the garage.

........Also don't forget to bring your homemade riding videos to play on the big screen before and after the fight. I think everyone is getting sick of watching my video!!! Would love to see some video of Fitch !??

I'm flying a little injured lol.. I went to the bmx trails and hit our 35ft table and went into a nose dive instantly and I ate chit and landed on my shoulder and slammed my head on my bars.

Think if I wrapped it I would be able to get by? It hurts if I go above my head with it and it cracks... Really loud :scary:

Bad news when you have trouble lifting the arm. Pretend like you are hitchhiking. Now, turn your pointing thumb towards the ground. Try lifting your arm straight out and up over your with your elbow locked. How high can you get?

There should be a good crowd on Sunday. I hear quite a few have been calling about camping space. I will be there Saturday around 6:00pm hoping to get ride some before dark. I am really heading there for the UFC fight at 10:00pm. Planning to stay both Saturday and Sunday nights. It is a blast to watch the pitbike races...at least indoors. This will be my first time watching outdoor races but I expect more action as they will be going much faster.

Me too. I haven't ridden since the last ATVriders event there. So, you going to surprise us with a new ride? If not, maybe you can help Pappy break in his new LTR450. I am sure he will want a few pics of it clearing the 65 footer. ;) See ya there.

Just got home, long day...

First off, I want to say the people at the track were so nice and friendly it was worth the 3 hour drive there and I will make it there again!

Left at 5 this morning got up there about 9:30 I might add Dan that road to the track is fun as hell going 45-50

I rode for about 4 minutes and I snapped another masterlink (go figure) Thankfully Pappys brother gave me a masterlink thank you guys so much! Got that problem figured out and I absolutely had a blast. The tracks are techincal if you want to go big and easy for begginers. I had a ton of fun there was alot of great riders out there.

It was SOOO hot and nasty out, I could do about 4-5 laps before I had to go to the truck and pour water on my head lol.. I tryed to do most of the jumps but my arms kept getting arm pump.. I guess it takes alot more work to ride a banshee around there then a 450 cause most of the guys on the thumpers were just chugging along.

Randy Lehr.. thats all I have to say I tryed to stay with him on a part of the track I was fastest and what a joke that was, He's so insanely fast.. And he made fun of me about my chain breaking, he broke his and his swingarm about 15-20 min later  It was badass finally meeting you sum*****... I think I hate you even more now that your truck blew black smoke all over me when I allready loved it enough lol

Wvspeedfreak, your the man! haha I had fun chilling with you and we had fun watching our buddy on the suzuki lmfao, I had fun watching your son tear it up out there when I took breaks, He's gonna be as fast as Cody some day! :)

I saw Cody give a 400ex hell, He's so damn smooth I love watching him ride I would love to watch him ride all the time.

I saw Fink out there, tryed to ride with him but god damn hes fast lol

And because of Pappy letting me ride that darn yfz I want one so bad now... They handle like they have power steering!
:eek2:

i was there as well. what a long day. had a blast though. Cookout was great. A lot of good riders there, Randy, Fink. Made every jump look easy. No injuries and no mechanical problems made for a good day. Wish it was about 65 degrees out but oh well. I got to give you props MX junkie on riding your banshee on a MX track. they are much harder to go fast on, than a 4 stroke.

Mxjunkie
05-29-2006, 06:48 AM
I saw you out there, that quad is sick!

I was going to say hi but I didnt know which one was you at the pits lol..

thanks, your banshee was one of the cleanest ive seen. which track did you like better?

Mxjunkie
05-29-2006, 07:37 AM
I liked both actually, I pefered the intermediate track it seemed a little more techincal. You were allways turning or jumping, but it had some strightaways where you could really wind the quad out.

The expert track was FAST! I was having a blast climbing the hill after the bleacher jump, it was about 4th-5th wfo and the front end just floated back end swapping around. Aint no wonder I cant walk today hahah.. I feel bad for who ever was behind me! They had to of gotten roosted pretty bad.. haha... That track was fun with all of the elavation changes.

I think the best spot of the track was where both of the tracks meet at the table. It was fun switching tracks there lol I cant wait to go again I want to do the tripple on the intermediate track infront of the bleacher. I tryed it once and I cased it but if I can get enough speed off the table I might be able to do it. I was watching fink do it and it was crazy

Hey I saw a couple guys pulled over by the cops with quads in the back going home on the turnpike was that any of you guys lol cause we passed a chevy with a blaster going 85 past the cop. Then we passed a yota with a suzuki 450 in the back I waved dunno who that was but I figured I'd wave :p

3 bottles of simple green and mean green and a hell of alot of scrubbing later.. :blah:

we live over near pittsburgh, so it wasnt us! We were so tired driving home, i couldnt push the gas pedal hard enough to speed! haha. My buddy on his Z bent two rims during the day. he is wheel shopping today as well. I know what you mean about the mean green and scrubbing. Man that red clay was everywhere. Little sore today!

I had to become a member of this site just to say what a fun time I had there. I bent both back rims, which led to atleast half a dozen flat tires, chain poped off ,grips kept falling off,and I still had a good time, everyone was friendly and curtious on and off the track.Good Job putting this together,
I'll be back as soon as I stop aching, prolly 6 months or so:D

vet-ltz and outofcontrol,

You should look into Hiper rims. In the long run, they are the most price competitive rim you can get since you won't have to worry about bending them ever. I loaned Jeff a set off my fianceee 400ex for a few hours because he totally bent his up. He is ordering a set tomorrow. If you are gonna keep going to the track, better to buy one good set of rims that will last forever than to keep buying aluminum. Double beadlock aluminum rims will cost you as much as Hipers anyhow.

outacontrol does have all carbon beadlocks on his laeger 450, and aluminnum beadlocks on his yfz, It was me that was having all the trouble. The rims that I bent were outacontrol's.haha. that dont bother me a bit.J/K
