hey i was just wondering how i will no when my piston an rings r going? an what does it take 2 fix it? an $ thanxs

you will start to see constant what tends to be blueish smoke out of the pipe while your riding, also a slight loss in power

you will need a new topend and probably need a new sleeve, and/or bore/hone the current sleeve

when your rings go bad your sleeve is usually bad or bad enough to be repaired at the same time.

you could get by with just honing the sleeve lightly and replaceing the rings on the stock piston

but while your in there you might as well start fresh and add a new piston, rings, and sleeve
