One of my friends came to me the other day and told me that he had just picked up a used 2000 model 300EX for $3800.00. Well, he said that the guy that sold it to him told him that he took off the carb to clean it and all he needed to do was pu it back on, well, it turns out that the carb is in peces! I can put it back together for him, but I need to know what the factory air-fuel mix screw setting and jet settings are. What I mean by jet setting, the main jet can be adsjusted up and down and there is a little lock nut that holds the jet set. How many turns out does that jet need to be??? I also would like to know how many turns out the ide screw is supposed to be. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
