Getting a pros jersey

This weekend my buddy got Juha Salminens jersey he wore in the race! He said he just went up to him and asked him real nice and they talked for a couple minutes and says he is realy nice and hilarious. Im wondering if this will work if I ask for Yokleys or something. I dont whether I should or not though. Itd be so emberassing for him to be like no get out of here kid. I dont think hed do that but I just dont know if I have the balls to ask!
