how do $6000 dirtbikes sell for only $1750 4 years later? why do they loose value so quickly?

i got a 05 crf250 ridden 4 times for 3,200$ they are 6,000 to 7,000$ out the door new;)

STFU, you have no idea what you are talking about alright. Used MX bikes go for NOTHING. '02 is old in the bike world. Go to wnyma.com in the forsale section. I bought my one '04 RM_Z for 1400 bucks and alls it needed was valves. Your a complete retard.

all markets are basically shot....nothing is worth anything...MX bikes are the worst for resale, the quads, then snowmoblies and then wave runners hold their value the best...my 1996 SL 900 is still worth 2200-2500 while a 2003 125s go for 1800 all day...its just the way it is..look at the 450 quads, in about 2 years you will see them fall down to 2800-3200 range...its just the way it is...look at how bad cannondales fell...a once 11 thousand dollar quads cant even be givin away now... :rolleyes: ...you just have to go out and have fun and try not to think about the money lost as least as possible

i see 01 - 03 250f and 450f bikes all the time for 2,000 to 3,000$ with alot of mods and in good shape... i've seen some go under 2,000 but they were a lil beat...


hell my 05 was 3,200!


they are worth nothing after 1 year yet alone 4...

Finally someone who knows what they are talking about. Look around- You can find a 2002 400ex for around 2 grand all day. Back in '02 the 400ex was going for around around 6 grand. I just don't seem to understand???? :confused:

According to KBB my kx250f is worth 3950. I'd love to get that much for it. Here, matter of fact why don't you buy it. If you can get kbb you are clearly a salesman.
