400 EX Chassis Modified to fit a 2001 YZ 426 bike motor. I built it this winter and have less than 5 hours on it since the rebuild. Here are the specs:
Motor
-YZ 426 motor with fresh Wiseco Piston/Rings
-Hot cam exhaust cam with auto decompression
-custom headpipe w/ wrap
-custom exhaust
-39 mm FCR Carb
-Custom intake w/ spare K&N filter
-YFZ Oil Tank and lines
-Aluminum 250R Radiator with Engine Ice coolant (does not overheat)
-DP clutch with 4 motos and 2 or 3 practices
Chassis
-400 ex chassis gusseted and powdercoated black
-Houser +3 Long Travel A-Arms
-Laeger + 1 1/4 Swingarm
-Ohlins Long Travel Front Shocks zero preload (comp/reb adj.) revalved by Lost Creek Cycles last month
-Stock rear revalved and set up zero preload by TCS last month
-Valved for a 180# A class rider
-AC propeg nerfs
-Burgard +1 Steering Stem
-909 Freestyle bars (Brian Deagans)
-Lonestar Axle
-Front Wave Rotors
-Rear Moose solid rotor
-Fresh pads front and rear
-Sidewinder chain and rear sprocket (13*35 gearing)
-20x6-10 Holeshot fronts on Douglas Red Labels (3/4 tread)
-18x10.5-8 Kenda Klaw rears on beadlocks w/ mud covers
-pro design kill switch
-full skid plate
-lonestar braided front brake lines
-lots more I've forgotten to list
Damage
-Blue maier plastic is rough
-one adjuster hole on the carrier is cracked - functions perfectly and not structural
-Seat pan cracked - comes with spare in perfect shape just didn't get a chance to change it out
-subframe scuffed on grab bar from transport/loading
This quad is very quick, handled extraordinarily well and jumps like a dream. I broke my arm on saturday down in Ettrick and it looks like I'll be off work for atleast a month or two. Don't want to sell it, but I've got to eat and pay my bills. I'm looking to get about $6000 out of it. This is an absolute steal for this quad. Before this complete teardown with new frame, LT suspension, motor rebuild etc I got 4th overall in Quad A District 16 with it in 2005. Call and make me an offer at 906-364-3210 or email me at antiheroracing@yahoo.com and I'll get back to you asap. Quad is located in Ironwood , MI and I would be willing to transport part way for a reasonable price. I should have pics up later today or tomorrow.
