ok alright,im in the process of installing my new swing arm, i got one bearing in the new swing arm with my friends homemade bearing pusher.Well the bearing pusher broke! i still need to get my bearing in, what should i do?? What were your methods of getting a bearing in?thanks, i heard people getting a 2x4 hammering it in, use a socket hammering it in, im scared to damage the bearing etc.

yeah - that always sucks getting them in w/ no dammage - try putting the bearings in the freezer for an hour to shrink the metal - and heat up the swingarm w/ a torch a little to expand that metal - that helps ALOT - I use a benchvise w/ a sockett to push them in

I also do mine with a bench vice. REalllllly simple to do once done a couple of times. Just find a deep socket that fits in there perfect.

I even use that method to remove my old bearings.

On my +4 I couldnt fine bearings in time for my ride so I removed my stock bearings and installed them on my new swinger no problems.
