hey i just got my new ppd racing large oil tank (its a prettty long name) lol. i ordered it off of moto joe racer. it was around 270 and i also got new brakes but i didnt put them on yet. I got it on after a little bit of trying. first, i had to remove the exhaust, and then i had to try pretty hard to get it in there with out scratching. on of the threads of the tank got a lil but stripped but i fixed it. it used like 3 3/4 quarts of oil (i think it can be 4 but i didnt want to overfil it.) after a little bit of starting, (my quads been sitting for a while) i got it running and went for a ride with my two buddies. i didnt get to really test it, cause i only rode for a half hour, but ill keep u informed about how it hhelps, etc. and one more thing, i hearrd that u can turn a 400 into liquid cooling, is that possible, and how can u do this? thanx

I like it a lot and yeah i think it looks like the pingry's. Although why would you get one, you really don't have any motor mods that your really need it.

That is the Pingry tank if it is PPD. I have had mine fior about three mnonths and love the look and the fact that it holds an extra quart of oil or so. It is hard to tell if it really lowered the engine temp, but looks great don't it. All you need now is the billet dipstick to finish it off... Just got mine Saturday at Dune Fest, along with the matching gas tank cap...

I emailed CFM their Oil Tanks are only $169 and they are the same as the Pingry`s except they took the 6 tubes out of the middle of it.

I've got a few PPD tanks (http://www.crowley-offroad.com/pingry_oil_tank.htm) left.

I got mine initially because I ride at Sand Mountain in weather up to 100 degrees. SM has very steep long hills and the engine generates tons of heat.

Does any one have a Graydon oil tank? I have heard that they look better and have cooling fins instead of the holes?
