The nerfs are great but the company sucks. I would consider the nerfs to anyone. My foot has never slipped off and the extra peg that goes to the end helps on turning and doing turn downs.

I have some Ironman series in Black on order. Their powdercoating is def top notch so I ordered them and a few other parts, but like Nick110 said, their customer service really sucks.

i wouldnt run anything but blingstar anymore. i am extremely happy with my black podercoat ones, the powdercoat is awesome, and they look sweet as hell.

Nick 110,

Did your nerfs bolt right up or did you have to do any mods (drilling). I can't tell from your pic how they mount in the front.

The fronts mont by taking the two bottom motor mound bolts on each side out. The a bracket that goes onto the 2 bolts and then in front mounts up and give a place to slide the nerf on. On the back there is a Round black tube welded to a plate the bolts to where the foot pegs mounts. Then you slide the nerf over that and the front one.

I had to drill through the nerf and throught the black round mount thing so I could run the bolts through it. Ive talked to people that said theirs came pre drilled but mine were not. I put then on in 45min to an Hour. ( No instructions came)

Nick 110,

Thanks. This makes sense to me. Did you drill and bolt the fronts also ? I didn't see any bolts supplied to bolt the ftonr down. My nerfs were drilled, but I will have to drill through the black round mount thing.

Mine didn't come with instructions either thogh they gave me a slew of stickers (bleh). For that much money I expected more out of the support and documentation. The hardware looks great though. Thanks for your help.

I heard the same company that makes them for Blingstar also makes the AC's. My AC Re-located pro-pegs look exactly like them except for the bolts that hold on the nets, and I just had mine PCed black:

No i didnt drill out the fronts at all. It seems a little weird how they mount to the front because they just like "slip" on to the bar that mounts in the frame.

Hmm. Ive never seen those AC's before. I never even knew that they made a "huge" peg series. They do look like the Blingstars. They only reason I got the blingstars is because they were the only company I knew of that made the pegs that way. I would of went with AC instead.

How much did those run ya?

Gotcha,

I called BlingStar and they said the fronts just slip on like you said. I din't want to have to do any drilling, but oh well. So much for the 15 minute installation. They also said that Heel Guards will be available in about a month if anyone is interested.

i had a set of the ACs before i bought the blingstars, and i have pu the blingstars through the paces and they are holding up alot better than my ACs ever thought about. they dont come loose all the time like my ACs did. so i think i was better off spending the extra dough on the blingstars.

Really? i've never had a problem with my AC nerfs... and i have them on my 450R, KFX450, Z400... they've never given me problems? just buy some locktight... that helps... i've had wheels and things fall off wile ridding... red lock tight is my bikes new friend
