I have no luck with this carb. It runs good some days then it doesn't I cleaned it out real good works good for one ride. Some times it is hard to start plug is always carboned up.

I have 11:1 Hetrick full exhaust cam hole in lid. Im running the dynojet needle and the highest 170 mj they gave me what its doing today runs good till 3/4 throttle and it cuts out like im at rev limiter Im just looking for People who have the same setup what there running. Im about to just by jets from the dealer and see what runs best!

should i try going down on the main jet?
and go to the dealer and get a 185 main jet 187 and 192,5 to match the dynojet

Sounds like your main jet is too big (rich). Put in a smaller one...I bet it gets better. If your running a dynojet needle I'd stay with dynojet jets. Alternatively, go back to your stock needle and use Keihin jets.

The fuel metering hole in Dynojet jets has a taper--it's not the same size hole all the way through. My understanding is that Dynojet's needles are shaped to accomodate that design. Maybe a Dynojet needle would work just fine with Keihin jets [shrug]. My guess is that a DJ needle, Keihin main jet combo would meter fuel ok but you might have to use some unusual jet sizes to get desired results. The taper of the needle (NOT the clip postion) does affect fueling all the way to WOT.


Basically, I don't know how they would react together so I suggest going all Dynojet or all Keihin and not mixing and matching.
