Fischer cycle makes a frame which disperses of 99% of the vibrations from the non-counterbalanced motor. Joe Dresliniski races this setup in the National 250A class with a stock CR motor and guess what hes in first place! So, a pro-circuit prepped motor will be an unstoppable force to reckon with! Many people who have ridden the bike have said it's faster than any power-valved 250r motor will EVER be! This is due to the fact that the powervalve in the CR motor is controlled electronically and is controlled at very precise increments. So all and all Kenny you have the absolute sickest motor available for a quad but you have to harness that power correctly, dont do a one off job by throwing the motor in a misfit frame, buy the correct set-up and get it done right. I'm going to Loretta Lynn's next week so I will talk to fisher to get some prices on a chassis set-up then I'll pm you with my findings.:D

it was the september issue of atv sport.

400ex127 - you should really read this article if you can. it has a lot of details on how he built this machine and kept the vibration down.

if i understand correctly, this motor is way more powerful than a 250r. apparently stock cr250 vs stock 250r is somewhere around 18-20 hp different. i don't know this to be fact, but i got it from a good source. if you think about it, 15 years of technology between the two motors, it could be true. this is a machine you definitely need to build!

Joey Dresliniski races this setup at nationals, #4 red 400ex fenders and a white frame. Fischer makes a special frame that takes alot of the vibration out. I think the 2002 cr250 motors have the electronic powervalve.

The fischer cr250r has OEM honda fenders with a maier hood, and R plastics are not outdated.

To tell you the truth I rather have R plastics on my 400 than the ex plastics.
