Project 450r complete for now

I was asked in another thread to do and update on my project 450R. So here is the run down. Sold my beloved 400ex wich was hard to do, but I wanted more.

Here is the 450 the day I brought it home. I really thought it was a good quad just in need of a few personal touches.

was I wrong. The axle bearings were toast, not a big deal untill I found that the swing arm was crushed into the carrier and the carrier was cracked. The stem was bent. and the motor was on its way out also.

Carry on, the frame was pc'ed black fade to white with siver metal flake over coat

The frame turned out great

The stock Honda crank was sent to Falicon for Knife rod and ballance. the piston was replaced with a je 11.5 to 1. The cylinder was recoated by mellenium. I kept the stage 2 hot cam that was allready in the quad.

here she is ready for the pipe and nerfs but pretty much done.

Here is a pic from the first race last weekend. Hope to run better tomorow. The bike worked great last weekend but the rider left a little to be desired.
