Reverse position on 06 Predator

Hi just looking at getting either a 06 TLD Predator or a Outlaw. Is the reverse switch, on the predator located on the handlebars like the outlaw is? I currently have an 04 raptor and i bought a DR D reverse lever locator to put it on the handlebars and it is alot better that on the front gaurds.

Also what would ur opinion be on the 06 predator vs the outlaw i mainly ride in sand with a few trails but no racing at all. Thanks

I have a 05 TLD, and 2000 DS720 (sand dune only), and the new 06 Outlaw Parts for the Outlaw are even harder to find than the Predator but more are being made each day. I can ride my DS all day I can ride the Outlaw all day if I ride the Predator all day I am wore out. Being an old fart comfort is big on my list of thing I look for in a quad. For the sand dunes front rib tires are a must. I could not believe how much better it turns with the ITP front Sand Stars. Just point and go hardly and drifting at all it is like it is an rails point and go.http://members.cox.net/bills500/fb4.jpg

you can use the DrD lever on the handle bar on the 06 I did on my 05

i couldnt find a dr d for the predator

I used the one for the Raptor 660 or you could get the Outlaw stuff it is the same thing just about.

ah thanks i assume that the length is ok for the predator.

You will need the Outlaw cable. Raptor cable length is too short and hook up to engine are different. I had to have a cable custom made.

sorry to break the news fellas, but the outlaws junk...........raced one on the track and on the trail, and it wouldnt touch my girl......buddy has outlaw, and the doenst like it over the predator. Says its to demanding to ride, unless its woods leisure riding lol........if i werre u i would get the predator. i have the 07 troy lee designs, and it isnt touched around here, including raptors....... BTW.....my revers is located inside the engine compartment, undrneath the gas tank are...its not on the bars, but isnt that bad of a place, i can get pics if u want......

This is the 2ND thread I have asked for pictures of your 07 troy lee! Polaris doesn't have 07 listed on there website yet so I want to see pictures. Where did you buy this 2007 predator?

If you are racing the stock location is bad. On the bars is much better, you can keep your hand on the throttle. Just my 2 cents

i know why he isn't putting pictures up...... CAUSE ITS NOT AN 07... just like you guys are saying 07's are not yet released, ANYWHERE. it doesn't matter who he is unless he is a test rider for polaris and lives up in the roseau mn area or works down at the testing facility in wyoming he hasn't ever ridden let alone seen a 2007. september is when next years quads are released every year and i'm pretty sure this year is no exception.

on the other hand lets see your decked out 2006 (since theres no way its a 2007)
