i ordered a elka/houser front and a lsr axle on monday. i had it 3 day aired so i would have it by my race this sunday (and extra 70 bucks). i got everythign today except the axle! im pretty mad, but besides that, would i be able to still use the front with a stock axle, or would it handle like crap?

thanks

You'll be ok. Ideally, you want the front and rear to be pretty close to each other in terms of width. For one race it won't kill you though - the front will just hook-up better than the rear. A lot of times people's fronts are wider than the rear anyways.

you should be fine. the rear is wider stock anyways. and like others said your front will hook up better but you should be alright

i think that it looks sweet like that. Anyways, I have always heard that somepeople like the rear to be smaller than the front cause it lets the rear slide easier. Also for XC, i would want a narrorower rear so that I dont smack as many trees with the rear.

in 5 races, I went through 2 .190 rear wheels from smacking trees. I never hit the front because i know where that is at, at all times, but once I get the front through, I just gun it and the rear smacks the trees sometimes. that why i just got some bajas.
