how hard is it to change the tie rods. ive never done it before and i was just wondering if its hard or easy. thanks

very easy i just had to replace one of mine last week. just remember that the inside is reverse thread so you dont trash it!! but it is very simple!

aight thanks man. i rolled it on the road and now it wont steer. so im thinking thats wat it is.

does the one side look like the other or is one of them bent??? you could have a bent frame, bent aarm, bent tierod. look for something bent if its turning to one side

also take a good look at this steering stem,where it bolts to the frame

i got a good look at it today. both the tie rods are suppose to be straight. and there both bent. so im gonna get new ones. how hard is it to get it straight?

lol,im replying from what mix master said, i got a look at the tie rods and there bent. i just wanna know how hard its gonna be to change them.

VERY EASY TO CHANGE THEM.LOOSEN THE JAM NUTS FIRST.THEN PULL OFF THE COTTER PINS,AND THEN TAKE OFF THE TIE ROD END NUTS.IF THE JUST SPIN.TAKE A 9/16 WRENCH AND TOLD RIGHT UNDER THE BOOT.THAT WILL HOLD IT FROM JUST SPINNING.THATS IT.COUNT THE NUMBER OF TURNS EACH TIE ROD END COMES OFF THEN DO THE SAME BACK ON.

yah its so easy to do man. i can do them in literally about 2 minutes
