I Need Your Help Locating Haydug

Ok I need some help. If any of you know Doug Flinner of Haydoug or Haydoug Cycles who sells parts and accessories on this website. If you go over to yfztech he is a vendor over there. Well about 6 weeks ago I ordered a longtravel houser/elka front end for my yfz. The first couple weeks of my contacting him through his cell and pm'ing him seemed to be ok, except that it would take a few days for him to respond. Well, we finally got my a arms after calling him. When we received them he then asked if he could have the rest of the money for the front shocks, since they were ordered and told us they should be shipping within a week, we were skeptical since we were having a little trouble getting ahold of him, but since we did finally receive the A-Arms we agreed to go ahead and send the other half of the money for the shocks since they were supposedly ordered. So we sent the rest of the money on April 12th through pay pal. After a couple of weeks I called his cell and his house and pm'ed him on here and yfztech to see where my shocks were. He then got back to me and said that my shocks were ordered and gave me a date when I should recieve them which would have been the week of April 17th, 2006. Well, when that date came and the shocks didnt come, I called and pm'ed him again, and he gave me some excuse and said that he checked and the shocks would be here the following week, which would be the week of April 24th, 2006. That date came and went and we really started wondering what was REALLY going on, since Doug has basically had my money since March 23rd, 2006. So, we called Elka ourselves and talked with them, they did confirm that he ordered them but said that Doug didn't order them until April 21st. We now waited another week trying all week to get ahold of Doug with no response. We called Elka this week only to find out that Doug has never paid them and they won't build the shocks until they receive the money. After talking with Elka and finding out what is REALLY going on, we started even harder leaving messages for Doug to Please call us back or at least send us our money back so I could get the shocks from someone else since my bike has been down for over a month now, We have gotten NO RESPONSE from him, not a call, not an answer to our emails and PM's or anything.

Elka is telling us that Doug was supposed to send them a check but he has never done that. So now, I am out the money I have saved for months for my shocks and can't get Doug to call me back or PM me or anything! I have missed 3 races now due to this and have no shocks and a bike sitting in the shop with no front end!!! We have now reported him to Paypal. And the only infor I know is the city and state he lives in. I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!! If ANYONE that has delt with Haydug has an address or other phone numbers, I need ANY AND ALL INFO ON HIM I CAN GET. I am TOTALLY screwed now because of this and can't afford to lose the money I have saved for months to buy me these shocks!!! Right now I have NO bike to Ride and lost a lot of points in my race series and this guy won't even show us the courtesy of calling us back or responding. ANY AND ALL HELP TO LOCATE THIS GUY WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! I dont know if the police would do anything. However I do know his first and last name, and his house and cell phone which we have called.
So if anyone can help me AT ALL!!! PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!

Man, not sure what happened. Haydug used to be quick. He got **** done. He doesn't anymore. I'm still waiting on three ITP T-9 Baja rims, and two Razr 1's.

What numbers do you have, I have these numbers saved in my phone from a while back. I'm not sure if they are labeled right, or if he even uses these numbers. So I apologize if you get someone else other then Doug......I'll PM them to you, just so Doug or someone else doesn't get angry.

This Doug guy is a crook. I used to ride cannondales and he is a vendor on cannondaleriders.com. A few months back he started stiffing people. There are a few complaints about him on that site as well. I also know that many people on cannondaleriders.com have a personal relationship with him. They will have the infomation you need. They will also try to defend him and make excuses. He has a shop somewhere so you should be able to find a business location. He also has a website haydug.com. Im not sure if it is still up. One last note, always buy from well know shops with public locations. Respectable people don't burn their fellow ATV'ers. Do not Do business with Haydug cycles. Also post this on the YFZ website and post in the sellers feedback. Hope I can help.

I meant mad, as in, if I posted phone numbers that I had, that he didn't want given out to everyone on this site.

My point is everyone should have this guys phone numbers. If he knows eveyone can contact him than he is less likely to do crooked business. If he thinks no one can get ahold of him he will continue to take peoples money. Businesses should be easy to get a hold of not play hide and seek. Have you got your rims and tires yet? Post his number we should all give this crook a call. People like this guy should be tied up behind my ATV and drug around a motocross track.

Well thats the thing, I have his cell phone, and home phone. I know the phones are not disconnected because he still has the same answering machine recording. But the thing is I have called his cell phone several times, and left messages, and I have done the same with calling his house phone. I have also PM'ed him on several different sites that he is a member. Especially yfztech, since he is a vendor. I dont know, I have heard that Doug was really fast dealing and everything. I just dont know, and at first I mean it would take a few days to get back to us, but he would and he was friendly. But it's like since we sent him the rest of the money he hasnt responded. I have heard on cannondaleriders.com that he just takes everyones money and spends it on his new shop and everything. Also, I have a address, but I think he moved, can anyone tell me if Doug is still in Gallipolis, Ohio??? And again, if anyone can let me know maybe his new shop's address.

if you have a phone number, and money order reciept or copy of a check and proof from elka he has not paid for them then your next step is to contact authorities because with that info you might atleast get your money back eventually. This is the exact reason I bye absolutely nothing on any of the quad sites including this one, to much scamming going on. I know a lot of you that bye stuff all the time and get great deals and never have any problems. But for BIG $$money$$ items like that I stick to actual stores/dealers. Better safe than sorry for my money :macho

That sucks, I know that he used to be quick to respond and give great deals, but now it sounds like he's a real crook. I'd contact the local authorities and see what can be done. It just sucks that a fellow ATV rider is screwing over other ATVers. Hope you get your money back and/or shocks.

:D I couldn't help but laugh at the dragging behind the ATV bit, that is exactly the way I feel right now...and the idea about posting the phone numbers is about where I am at. I have had a great response like you guys from several sites, maybe if something doesn't happen this next week, I will do exactly that. I have several other friends on texasatvs.com and other sites who are all ready to help. This just really sucks, and we wouldn't even be having this conversation if he simply did two things. Paid Elka so we could get my son's shocks and / or #2 Simply call us back and answer emails etc. Communication, Communication, Communication. Quite Simply, I am a business man myself, and I wouldn't have a business if I treated people like this and never returned my phone calls. Doug is obviously hard at work on his new shop, but from what I have read the last couple of days on the different sites, I don't know that he should mess with it if he does business this way. I figure if enough people know what he is doing to my son, if he is smart, he will make it right one way or the other, give us the money back or get these shocks here now!! Otherwise from what I am seeing and what I am going through, I will post this on every site I can find that has to do with ATV's. If he is legitiment, he will take care of it, if not, I will get my money back and make sure everyone I come in contact with knows about him.
