just shoot them then spread them out on fields for fertilizer. theres a crap load of them around here and need to get rid of them they eat every thing in sight even the eggs of other fish. i used a compound bow like the one below with a reel mounted on it. one of my friends that was out there used a spear that he made in school.

Wow awesome

I would have never thought sports like archery and fishing would ever cross. Just imagine if other sports did this too. I'm thinking the Tour de France should allow the riders to have paintball guns. That'd be sweet!

They are carp right? Where are you from anyway? We bow fish up here in New York as well, but all the water up here is super murky even when it's a foot deep.

believe it or not there are professional bow fishing tournaments down south in LA and FL in alot of the big lakes. Also some in TN, GA, AL lakes as well. You have your boat, and if your serious bow fisherman you have a tower/platform built on you boat anywhere from 3ft to 5ft high, so you can have a better angle at shooting the fish and also helps to see them a little better. The tournaments usually have carp and alligator gar for tournament fish
