how much difference will it be if i drop a tooth on the front sprocket? i ride/race the woods.....

I like for riding in tight woods, but we are the un beaten pathkind of riders stop and go alot. For racing I like the factory better. One tooth up on the rear may be a better compromise.

I split the difference and went 13-37, changed both. So far I like it. First race this weekend so we'll see.

alright..cause i have an 06 and i think first gear is to high in tight woods......feels like it wants to stall out alot..

Ride it and get used to it. I hardly ever use 1st gear with a stock front sprocket. Try forcing yourself to ride in a higher gear, it will make you faster.
