spark plug popped out and now what?

so my friend was ridding on a hot day with almost no oil and the sparg plug some how popped out? now when it gets put back it just slides all the way in with out needing to be screwed. how do i fix this? thanks

It kind of sounds like someone put heli-coil in the head and it might of worked its way out. Take a look at the threads, if there are any. It also could be stripped.

if that is the case you will have to get a new head, I dont think you can re-tap or helacoil and plug into the stripped head.

You can helicoil a plug hole.

Helicoil it. It will be stronger than stock.
