Hi,
I'm about to purchase a big bore kit that is a mix and match kit from trinityracing and powroll. I was wondering what anybody else is running for big bore kits.

I am running an IMS kit and am real happy with it. I am sure that Trinity or Powroll would have a kit that would work well also. :)

Oh ya and who are you having to do your 465 stroker

For Dirt Only is doing my 465 and yeas they are reliable if you have the correct rod put in them. He has built several for trail riders and mx guys. He has a couple of guys running his 473 in the GNCC's and has had no problems with any of them. Serveral other guys run 460's and 465's by other builders in the GNCC's and have no problems. I think this type of racing is the ultimate test for a motor because we are giving it all it has for two strait hours or more. FDO # 740 967 1078

The kit that I'm gonna do is trinityracing told me they would charge me $1400 for a 465 bore, cam, port, and pipe. Then from powroll for $1070 I'm gonna get springs, hardfaced rockers, 39mm FCR carb, heavy duty clutch springs and a new airbox lid. I don't know if anybody else runs the same thing or close but I hope it will turn out nice.

Call Mike at For Dirt Only he should be able to get you a 465 stroker for around that much, and it should produce more hp and be more reliable. 740-967-1078
he will profly have a faster turn around time also

I have around $800 in mine. That includes the cam, springs, port and polish, basicly everthing that is internal. I also put it together myself. :D
If you were going to do just the big bore no cam or head work, you should be able to get it done for about $300. I highly recomend the cam and head work though.

No you will have to call Tom. He has a 416, 425, 440, something around 460, 473, 480, 490, and a 505. You can get just about anything.
