not sure, but my cousin just bought one and I can say that they wheelie pretty easily.

I'd have to guess they do around 60? 55-60?

i don't always ask about tops speeds, and anyway most of the time when i do i am just curious. I just wasn't sure how fast a 4x4 sport utility quad that weighed over 500 pounds went. I was thinking about how i would always dream of having a sport/ 4x4 quad that didn't weigh a ton and still hit the mid 60's and had the comfort and gadgets of a utility.

even tho the quad is heavy it would be pertty sweet to have, and just hit sweet mud spots and go in the snow, but still have somewhat of a sportier feeling.

Then you wouldn't want that belt drive crap.

Yamaha ruined the wolverine by putting that junk in it. They should have left the tranny alone and just put a 450 motor in it . They you would have what you were looking for.

Seems like all the utilities are belt drive these days - What's up with that? I love the old wolverine, the only thing It needed was a clutch and it would be great. The styling was pretty good, and you could remove all the racks and it looked pretty sporty, and its a mix between a utility and a sport, quite cool. However the new one is ruined... The plastic's are awful, I guess it's an auto now, which i dont like, but they did make it come factory with 4x4/2x4 unlocker which is good...
