i jetted my bike in the winter and now that it is warm out it doesnt want to run right it likes to sputter at about half throttle do you think my main jet might be to big now all i have is a qiet cored slip on with the stock filter at a 120mj and the plug is allitle on the black side.

Yep. If you jetted for cold temps than it's going to be too rich for warmer temps.

try and move the needle doun a cupple.


if it runs good wide open, and idle, just not mid, then it is your needle.


I say move the clip up one notch on the needle and try that.

today was the hottest day we had yet around 80+ degrees and it was slugish all over but especially at that spot since i have a 120mj do you think that it would be ok if i put my 118mj back in then decided to run a race with the core out.

FOM is going to be a pain. cause its going to be humid and hot so jetting will be way off. I'm in the same boat as you with jetting. I just added 3 more discs to my pipe.
