are those quads really that much differnt? i like the 2000 cheaper and mods

the 2000 is almost race ready and idk if it has been raced before, but i have 2 hondas and i kno that the motors last forever but i dont feel to comfertable buying a 2000 400ex.

2000 400ex full dmc exhaust,dynojet jet kit,pro design tether,nerfs,brand new front mx holeshots and rear mxr4 holeshot tires(have practice tires on right now but the holeshots have not even been mounted at all and still have all the nipples on them), new primary drive chain, new primary drive rear sprocket, new sunstar front sprocket brand new rear brake rotor hub,new barnett dirt digger racing clutch kit with heavy duty springs brand new springs,new clutch cable,brand new rear shock,race cut fenders,featherlite carbon fiber hood,EBC brakes,msr handle bars,UNI air filter,progrip grips

From those mods it hardly race ready. All it has is a Pipe????????????????? :eek2:

the 400ex really has never changed form 1999-2004 i beieve the 1999 had a issue with something with the airbox cracking. Other then that go for the more modded 1 i had a 2002 400ex last year with jrd long travel a arms custom axis long travel the whole 9 yards besides a swingarm rear shock and motor work. and raced it on a stock motor with just a tc exhaust and air filter. And it never gave me problems at all on a full summer of racing and practicing. so what im syaing is no matter what one you buy as long as you do normal mainteance like clenaing the air filter oil changes it should last you a long time even if you ride hard. . heres a couple pics for you http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/250ex3/100_2464.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/250ex3/102_4388.jpg
