Car Audio Help- CD text

I have an Alpine CDE-9843 head unit that is suppose to cd text but it doesn't. It doesn't work for CD's that i burn or buy. I think i might have to set something up on it but I wouldn't know what or how. Thanks.

Make sure whe you make a cd you have that option on.
