Shipping a quad??

If anybody has shipped a quad I was wondering if you could help me out. Who is the best to use and how much did it run you? The quad will be coming for NC and going to IN. The quote I got so far is $550, but I did a search on here and saw people were shipping cars for 600-800 up to 2000 miles. Any help would be great.
