recomended pipe and jet kit for 400 ex

Hey, I'v got an 04 400 EX and I want to put a pipe and jet kit on it. This bike's ridden by my wife so i don't want anything too loud but still with some thump. Any recomendations??

If you must have it quiet just keep it stock, because any and all aftermarket pipes will raise noise. There are pipes like the FMF Q, but I've heard of power losses with that pipe. Personally I would probably go with the Pro-circuit t-96. Only 96DB's which isn't very loud considering some of the pipes out there.

Also I wouldn't even bother with a jet kit. You should be able to just buy a couple of jets and get it good. Most anyone on here can give you recommended jetting for a 400ex, since 95% of the owners on here already have pipes installed.

I bought an fmf powercore 4 and Powerbomb header, the throttle response improvement over stock was good. I also got the quiet core for it and it quiets it down alot...
