Hey guys my two friends are looking into buying some USED blasters. They dont have alot of money so this is what they can get. I was wondering everyoens thoughts on a blasters proformance compared to a 250ex. Is it a never-ending money pit? what are you thoughts? any regrets??? i need all that, thanks alot.

My blaster was a money pit, but it was also faster than modded 300ex's. i'd say if u maintain em they stay reliable.

a blaster is peppier and faster and better suspension than a 250ex but plain way to put it is its not as fun to play on. my friends is a money pit. but it will eat my 300ex alive. mty 250ex isnt much of a match either.they are fun to ride kinda like an 80 dirtbike. good bit of power just a tit bit small

the blaster is pretty fast lil turd but it needs major brake upgrades. the new ones have good hydraulics but from1988 to 2002 they all suck in stock form. my sisters 2001 already has no back brakes

there fun to mess around on to just have a godo time n all especially b/c u can pick them up cheap my friend got a 97 with full hydrolic brakes off a warrior for 1350

watch out for brake problems, his isnt that much of a money pit but as they said b4 treat it right and it will return your favor

go with the blaster man its alot better i think but no reverse and it depends on what type of riding u want to do

i love blasters, i used to have one and a couple of my friends have them, there sweet machines, but i would go with a 300ex because they have reverse and there more reliable a 250ex is more for beginers because it has auto clutch but there still cool!

Blasters are a great quad, they have problems with the brakes, an i would take the oil injector off, an just straight mix the gas, because my friends blaster locked up because of a faulty injector, it happened 2 times.... so just warning you... about this problem i have observed...
