05 450R Valve tran problems

I went to installing my HRC cam tonite and im lost. Ive got something off inside is the only thing i can think of and im just over looking it. When kicking the motor over its like the decompressor in not working at all or something . Its holding way to much compression or .....??? If anyone has had this promblem or knows what i need to do let me know. Gotta have this thing ready for MO this weekend.

put your quad back together, with the hrc cam. see if it starts. before i put my hotcam in i could literely push the kick start with my hand. now, with the cam, i can stand on the kickstart without it turning over.

Check check and recheck your timing marks. I have doenthe same thing swore ona stack of bibles its right and wont run chack the timing and bam there it is.
