There are some new shops involved in the comp and some
"Seasoned" shops to this comp bringing in new rigs and competitors.
It's looking to be the best comp yet.
Event Itenerary:
Friday, May 5th
2pm: Optional pre-event walk through of all stages for the teams.
Teams will disclose which of their vehicles will run which stages at the end of thewalk throughs. (Those teams opting not to do the walk-through need to notify RORP with which vehicles will be running which stages by Friday evening.)
5pm: Tech inspection of teams’ vehicles begins in RORP parking lot.
Drawing of order for stages after tech inspection.
7pm: RORP cook-out for all teams and hosting club members at park pavilion.
Saturday, May 6th
7am: Tech inspection for those teams not here on Friday.
8am: Teams gather on the hill next to the mud pit. Shops and clubs displays should be in place on the grass areas around the mud pit at this time. All day one events, set-ups and lunch will occur on the hill in the mud pit area.
8:15am: Introductions and National Anthem.
8:30am: Stage 1 begins—Mud bog hosted by Southern Illinois Jeep Association.
10:30am: Mud bog ends. Teams gather at designated pit area.
11am: Stage 2 begins—Technical Trail Challenge in Coyote Crossing hosted by Midwest Jeep Thing.
1pm: Lunch break.
1:30pm: Stage 3 begins---Wolves Den timed trail run hosted by Mid Rivers Jeep Thing.
4:30pm: Day one of competition ends.
Sunday, May 7th
8:30am: Introductions and National anthem in Dump Truck Pull area.
Shops and clubs displays should be in place in designated areas around parking lot/rockcrawl area.
9am: Stage 4 begins---Dump Truck pull hosted by Central Illinois Jeep Club. Event takes place on clay hill by cattle shed.
11:30am: Stage 4 ends. All teams and spectators head back to parking lot.
Noon: Lunch break.
12:30pm: Stage 5 begins---Rockcrawl Challenge hosted by Two Rivers Jeep Club.
4:30pm: Raffle prize winners announced. Thank-yous and Awards ceremony.
