Z400 help

I did some searches and looked on the net and I cant seem to find how much oil a Z400 will use when i change it. Does anyone know how much it takes to fill it when you change the filter. Also the last thing is what is the NGK spark plug number I just wanna make sure I get the right one. Thanks

Mine held a little over 2 quarts, so get 3 to be safe. As far as the spark plug goes I will have to look for you later, it's in my manual but my 2006 KFX is in the shop and I won't have it back from the stealership till tomorrow.

CR7E on the spark plug. 2.1 quarts of oil. Maybe a tad more...

2000ml without oil filter change 2100ml with oil filter change.

Thanks, Doing service to it tomorow night just wondering if theres anything special to do to the z400 as far as maintenance or is it just like any other machine? I work at a dealership doing service work on atvs so i know them well but is there anything special ot do with the z? Cant wait to start riding it as it was my dads and it is in mint shape.

Blackriver, Adams County alot, and some in northeren Juneau county. Mostly routes in Adams and Jeneau, I ride quite a bit because my grandpa is a trail patrol officer and i ride around with him. Where you ride at? By the way i picked up the oil and filter and spark plug at work tonight thanks for all the help guys.

well if you just got it. check that air filter. They are way!!! under oiled from factory

actually I just saw it is a 03' i guess it is used... still wanna check that filter

Yeah im not too concerned about the air filter because i just put in a new one last year for my dad. We had the fourwheeler for alomost a year and a half and my dad never rode it and i got a heck of a deal on it and i have done all the service work to it so far so i know whats got done to it but thanks for tip any
