Cheaper way.....fine-tune your jetting (main, needle, pilot, etc)...

More expensive way....FCR carb...

what about his power now crap? O have full exhuast aand K&n with proflow and no lid.

Whats your jetting? I had an increase in throttle response after installing a DynoJet kit on my '04....the needle made a good difference....

Fine tune your jetting and then maybe throw it on a dyno to get it perfect.....

nope- dont go with the power now crap...
if youre talking about that bog, boyeson makes a pump accelerator that helps get rid of it and gives you better throttle response

The one Boyeson makes isnt for the trx450r carb its mainly for the fcr carbs.

I have an 04 and the throttle response is right there. hrc neddle, 3rd clip( or forth ), 185 main and stock pilot. I have a dasa adapter and filter from rossier. I cut the stock lid like an hrc. I know alot about fcr carbs, and it will give better throttle response.

I was ganna buy one but im very happy with the way mine runs.

I would like to try an fcr carb just to see the diffrence.

i used the dyno jet kit. its jetted like perfect. Theres no bog but i want more snappy throttle.

My throttle is snappy. But I would bet $$ that the fcr would be snappier!

The boysen quickshot is only for FCR carbs. Try the Dyno jet kit and go from there. You could always add the FCR carb though. Great part.

I have a power-now in my 450r and it works good. It definately gave me a little increase on bottom end. The FCR carb makes a big difference I rode my buddies last night and it runs better and pulls harder.

You couldn't be more right. Didn't really believe all the hype until I bought one, WOW is all I can say. Couldn't be more happy. Money well spent!
