i have a 96 300 ex. i am wanting to give it more power for a reasonably cheap price. does anyone have any suggestions.

Exhaust and the appropriate jets would be a good start.

I'm not sure on a 300ex. You will probably need to take the carb off though.

when the mufflers say silencer. does that actually mean they are quite. cause alot of them say it

no. the silencer is an important part of an ATV exhaust. it is in essence the "muffler" of the exhaust.

nobody likes TOO loud, as it works against our collective effort to keep areas open for riding, so please keep noise levels in consideration when purchasing an exhaust. :)

Any and ALL aftermarket exhausts are going to be louder than stock....

I get a 300ex with an moose jet kit with a white brother pipe an it runnes fine. They are easy to put in. when you pull off the carb an the bowl there is an nut bot you pull it off an pull the jet an put in the new one

pipe, filter, and jet. To change the jet, you need to remove the front fenders, gas tank and carb. Remove the nut on the bottom of the carb and use a 8mm socket and take the jet out. Then carefully tighten the new jet in and put everything back together.
