Well< i'm trying to get this thing to run, put all new valves in it, new piston rings, and everything was shimmed. It had 100 lbs. of compression, kicked it over and it went to 0. I'm completely stumped. My dad said it could be cracked water jacket. any help is appreciated!

well im sure you woildhave notices if the cylinder was cracked when you replace the rings right? do the water jaket thing is out of the question. i think you need a leak down tester to help you find your unusual problem.

Is that motor a twin cam? Are you sure you have the cam timing right?

do leak down test and also check your cams to make sure it is timed right. and it should have more than 100 lb more like at least 150 or more
