I have one on my 416. I could tell better throttle response in higher gears. I have a 190 main and I thought it was to rich now I think it is really close to being perfect. I usually had to let the motor warn up or it would die when I would whack wide open in 1st from a dead stop. But now it full throttle as soon as I crank up.

Even if you get one and don't like it. It's universal for any bike.

they are strongly recommended to only be ran with a complete exhaust system... the ICAT does not perform to its level of work without a complete exhuast system just keep that in my mind..

Bingo! Who's gonna volunteer to lend out their I-Cat for some real testing??

I've never used an I-Cat, but I've read many dozens of internet opinons from those who have. In my estimation it's a 50/50 split among those who say they add anything vs. those that didn't feel a thing.

My guess is that at the most they just help fix poor jetting--but I'm a sceptic. I need real data before I'll spend $200 on such a device (or even $50). Many times I've seen first hand how misleading "seat-of-the-pants" evaluations are. The power of persuasion is a force to be reckoned with!

Let's put the I-cat issue to rest and get one dynoed!

yea whys that . it has to do with you spark. nothin else.

the ICAT does not just give more spark, the ICAT also helps jetting and if u are off on the jetting it fixes that for you, the ICAT also gives off more emmisions and increases the exhuast flow, and pushes out more power from the motor and helps with longer power, and more torque so It only will work with a full system becuase of the exhuast it pushes out and helps the exhuast and jetting perform at highest standard.... my uncle sells ICAT spark enhancers p.m me if u want to know more or I can give u the contact to his dealer for ordering he charges... 190.99 for a ICAT spark enhancer.
