I was considering getting a roller banshee I found for like 100 dollars and was wondering if it would be worth it to fix up.Its a 1989 I think so it would have the j arms I hear about right?I know I love banshees and really want to have a project banshee but is finding a motor going to make it not worth it?Thanks.

it would be worth it if you could get the motor cheap...your gonna need a radiator if it doesnt come with one and all the wiring and throttle and stuff...im not sure how much comes with your roller but ist not going to be real cheap to build...especially if you want aftermarket parts and motor work done...but if your willing to spend the money it will be worth it in the end. :D

Well I heard today from the person that I might be buying it from that he can get me a radiator for it and that it has some brand of aftermarket shocks on it so if I had to i could probally part it out and get my moneys worth. It also has all wheels and tires and axle, swingarm, etc.I am just worried about finding an engine.........

So should I just try to find one for a good deal complete or get this one?I have seen that the engines are going pretty good for prices so I dont know what I should do.Thanks.

So you guys think its worth that to get get a engine and possibly other stuff and fix it up even though its a 89?How much changed through the years of the banshee? If I get this its going to be a long term project so I would like to have it since I love to work on stuff. Thanks again.

well virtually nothing has changed on the banshee through all the years except the a-arms and brakes, unless im missing something small. an engine might be expensive tho, good luck

check ebay for some parts that you need. it will be cheaper then going to a dealer. there are ALWAYS motors on ebay for banshee's...good luck if you get it!

If you're not going for it, send it my way. I'll take it for $100. Hell, I'd take just the frame alone for $100! It's worth it.
